do I still have to pay for the sat or its late fees if I don't decide to take the sat for that day?

hi guys…i’m pretty new to this,
Anyways here’s my story. In early December I decided to start studying for my SATs, so I decided to use Khan Academy to help me study. I linked my College Board account to my Khan Academy account and I did just that. But here’s the problem when I chose to make a study schedule I had to pick a date so I chose the march date. I basically had to chose a date so I can proceed to studying and it will make a schedule for me (to my understanding). Now it is January and I was on my college board and on my notifications it says “Don’t forget to register for the Mar 11, 2017 SAT: You must register no later than Feb 10, 2017 to avoid late registration fees.” but I don’t want to take the test for that day nor register …nor pay for late fees. The questions at hand is: Do I have to pay for the test even if I don’t register for it. and do i still have to pay for late- registration fees still even if i’m not planning to take the test that day? I actually want to take the school wide test for juniors in May instead.
THANKS FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO READING MY POST.

No, I’m pretty sure you do not have to take the test or pay for it unless you actually registered - which you did not.

thank you so much! and yeah I did not register.
