Do I still need to take the TOEFL/IELTS exam for Parsons and FIT?

<p>Hi guys.</p>

<p>So recently, I finally decided to come back to school and pursue my dreams. I am applying to Parsons New School of Design and Fashion Institute of Technology.</p>

<p>I will be applying as a transfer student since I had some college credits back in the Philippines. I am fluent in English and I really hope that both schools would waive the English Proficiency exam for me. Both of the exams don't have a testing site in my city. The closest one from me is in Gainesville which is some 2 hour drive.</p>

<p>I have been studying English since I was a kid. English subject has always been a part of the education system and curriculum in the Philippines.</p>

<p>Do you guys know if I still have to take these exams? I called the admissions department and searched the web for answers but I got mixed responses. :c</p>

<p>You need to read each institution’s website to find out about this. If the website is not clear, email the international admissions officer and ask. If the answer still isn’t clear, contact a supervisor. Keep moving up the food chain until you reach someone who knows.</p>
