Hi! I'm a Pre-PT exercise science major. I was just wondering, can where you work impact your grad school application? I just got a job at Rotech healthcare, however I'm not sure I'll be able to keep the job if I don't stay at the college over summer. I really enjoy the job and thought it would look good on a resume that I have worked in this type of field as opposed to working at a fast food restaurant or something. I have a guaranteed 28 hrs. a week at $8.79/hr, however, if I go home I can return to my waitressing job and make about the same or more in tips and not have to pay to sublease a room. But, if I stay at the college I can also pick up some classes to take over the summer. Thoughts?

Yes. Work experience in your chosen field is valuable, especially in professional-oriented degrees such as PT. It shows commitment and personal investment in the field, and prepares you for continued work in the field after you earn your degree.
