In my freshman year I finished with a 92.88 average weighted,
Sophmore year i had a 92.22 weighted :\
Junior year I should finish up with a 97-98 average weighted.
Am I totally screwed because of lowish fresh/soph grades to get into a school like Wake Forest? I will finish up high school with 5 AP's (my school only offered 1 junior year and the rest senior year)
My class rank is top 20% but will go up after this year.
Thanks!

C'mon 30 people have looked can't any reply :P

I don't know much about this school, but, no, you're not totally "screwed." Thankfully the admissions process isn't solely based on grades. and your averages aren't bad at all.

Er, no. Upward trends are good.

ha. I assure you, a strong junior year does absolute marvels for a college application. Freshman year hardly counts, sophomore year somewhat, but junior year will get you places. Pity I messed mine up... in any case, good luck.

actually.. a lot of school just don't care about freshman year. soph/junior is what counts. junior especially

Don't forget that first semester senior counts too b/c I worked my ass off and got moved up a few places. This probably helped a lot with my getting into the honors program at my college. Then I fell apart second semester and went right back down haha. oh well I tried a full schedule and it killed me by the end.
