<p>Would low AP Scores on a student transcript hurt? If not, then aside from money.. Wouldn't there be no negative effects of taking many exams and see how well you do with some studying?</p>
<p>Nah. You can choose to send or not to send your AP score to the college of your choice. AP tests are just there to save you money in colleges that accept the credit (if you get a 3-5, mostly 4-5) and to look good on your college applications, that is, if you score high.</p>
<p>No, they won’t hurt you. I’ve been told that colleges would rather see you attempting the exam instead of taking the course but not taking the test. </p>
<p>The only negative thing is the money you used and didn’t pass. But you can learn from it and try it out again next year.</p>
