Holding back AP Scores

I got a 3 on my AP Lang exam that I wanted to hold back. When I was going to submit my AP scores to colleges, I realized that I cant digitally hold the score back. Wondering if…

A) I don’t need to send my AP scores to colleges now (mostly Ivies) and only have to after I get accepted and choose to attend

B) I can hold it back but am missing something

C) If I send it but colleges only look at the scores I put on the common app

Any advice is also useful. Please help! Very confused

You only send your AP scores to the institution you decide to attend, they are not used in the admissions process.
