I sent in my midyear report and they received it the 19th of Jan. I applied OOS and have yet to hear (like the vast majority of people). A friend of mine called today and the admin rep said they don't give mid-year reports any weight because "it would be a unfair advantage for those who have received decisions". This really doesn't make sense to me because to the best of my knowledge they haven't sent out rejections yet. I can't imagine that it wouldn't hold any weight, and since it's an official transcript from my school I would think that they're legally obligated to read it. Any thoughts?

I don’t understand, why would they be “legally obligated” to read it? If you’re OOS, they can do whatever they want. If the rep said they don’t, I guess they don’t.

^ Because it could contain a change in transcript material, it doesn’t make sense that they wouldn’t

bump…any other opinions

I called and asked if they would like a transcript for first semester and I was told that they wouldn’t look at it anyway so don’t waste my time.

I think you’ve gotten your answer, more than once.
