Do my ECs show 'passion'?

THIS IS REALLY LONG, SO A SUMMARY IS KIND OF STATED IN MY SECOND POST.

Everyone always talks about extracurricular activities these days...how they should say something about who you are, show your interests - you know - that kind of thing.

As a sophomore just beginning the college search, I'm a little concerned if mine do that. I have recently discovered that my big interest lies in politics, international relations/diplomacy, human rights and writing. I hope to major in political science with a second major/minor in either English, philosophy or East Asian studies. I could see law school in my future, and then work as an attorney for a non-profit.

While I don't think I want to pursue it as a career, journalism is also important to me and I'd like to work on a college newspaper. In addition, being involved in theater would also be nice. It's fun for me because I can kind of escape from reality.

Here's everything I've been involved in, although I'm considering excluding a lot of it in future applications

NEWSPAPER
9th grade: writer
10th grade: Arts section editor, writer
11th grade (just announced): News section editor
member of Quill and Scroll International Honorary Society
expected to win several state contests this spring for writing and page design
have also been involved with student-produced broadcast

THEATER/SPEECH TEAM
have been in four school productions with lead roles in three of these
inducted freshman year into International Thespian Society
have competed in large group and individual state speech contest
named Outstanding Performer this year for storytelling in individual events...performed at All-State Festival

VOLUNTEER AT LOCAL MUSEUM
would rather not say what museum, but it relates to my heritage
I give tours every other Sunday

TENNIS
another nice hobby that's relaxing
play at local club couple times a week and on school team

3 singles for 9/10, but I'm hoping for varsity next year

MODEL UN
I really don't like MUN. It's poorly organized in my state and I didn't even go to our only conference this year, although I'm supposedly "vice president."

Also, this is kind of a hook: I'm interning for a political campaign this summer, which I'm excited for. And I plan on working at my tennis club.

I just feel like nothing I do has any personality and that it's so broad. I don't know... am I overthinking this?

thought I would add that I'm starting to get bored with some of my ECs. I'm from Iowa, and with the caucuses this year, I really got into politics. I'd like to cut back on theater more and get some more poltical experience in addition to this summer internship. The only problem is the lack of offerings at my school
does anyone have any ideas? This is more about getting into colleges (although that's important, too), but pursuing what I love.
