The title says it all. Do PA Programs look at how many credits you take per semester or they just look at how well you did with your overall GPA, science GPA, and prerequisites?
I'm taking 17 credits and thinking about dropping a music class that's 3 credits.
This will brings me down to 14 credits.
The reason is because I'm taking an Anatomy w/ lab class (4 credits).
Last semester in spring, I took Physiology with same professor and I had to late drop an Art History honors class.
The Art History was hard for me because the professor doesn't go easy on us and put us in lots of workload, especially that English is not my second language and I have a learning disability, so it took longer for me to write those essays.
I was able to get a B+ in Physiology after I dropped Art History but only with 12 credits total in that semester.

The courses that I'm taking right now are:
Anatomy w/ lab honors - 4
Nutrition - 3
Statistics - 4
Kinesiology honors (CPR and first aid) - 3
Music - 3 ~ thinking of dropping
I'm also part of THON as the Family Relation Captain, and I volunteer at a hospital 8 hrs per month.

Would it be reasonable to take 14 credits with the extracurricular activities above and with my situation?
And does PA Programs even look at how many credits you take per semester?

Thanks in advance!!
