because on the college board website it says 43% of people get a 5 in the grade distribution for calc bc. doesnt that seem a little high?

Think about the demographic of those who take the test and it should make sense. :)

Most schools offer only the AB exam, and schools that offer both AB and BC put their stronger math students in BC.

^well students can take bc if they want....i think it's b/c calc scares most ppl so only the ppl who really think they can handle it (and usually they're the ones who can) will take it.

pretty much all the smart (ahem--nerdy, including me) asians at my school take calc.

^ i have a true story from my school"

75 people took the bc test from my school last year:

1 person got a 5, 2 people got a 3, 2 people got a 2, and 70 people got a 1...

SEVENTY PEOPLE GOT A F-ING ONE!!!!!

needless to say, the teacher was fired, and the beginning of this year :)

^
Your school probably had at least 1/4 of all the 1s in the country. j/k

70 people seriously got a 1? O__________O

my teacher has seriously had like 2-3 1's in the past 8 years. and like 8-10 2's. 70 is so much.

my teacher gets like 15-5s a year and like 2 4s

lol for like 20 years...
