Do Regents (State Tests) Count?

So right now i'm a Junior in high school but i'm NOT a good test taker though I have:
GPA: 4.0
Practice SAT's I've taken I range at around: 1800
(I'm taking the SAT in March, again in June and again in September so I have time to raise it)
I'm in many extra-curricular programs that relate to fashion and marketing (what i want to study) and have been in several art programs on weekends.
I also have volunteered for marathons and at a soup kitchen, and at hospitals.
Have done summer and weekend internships that relate to marketing
I currently work at American Eagle
Honors- Top 10% at my school

BUT
I'm really bad at tests so for my Regents (NY STATE TESTS) I have done really bad. I have taken my 5-7 but they are all in the 70's and 80's.
I really want to apply to out of state schools such as Georgetown. Do you think they will look at them? Can i get denied to schools because of my Regents scores?

bump…

I’m from New York also and I’ve never heard of any out of state colleges mentioning regents exams at all. I doubt they even look at them. Personally I think it would be a bit unfair to use them as part of your decision since only people from New York take them, but either way the grades you make in the classes are definitely more important. I wouldn’t worry about it affecting you too much.

Yeah thats what I thought too. But they do appear on our transcripts. I feel like they would still look at them… Hopefully they don’t think something is up because my grades and SAT score is high but then my testing scores are low
