Hey I was just wondering about this. I am a bit concerned as my first marking period were all A while my second one has b+ and a-.
By the way my report card for MP2 isn’t out yet, but is ending soon. The reason I know my averages is because my school offers an online gradebook where we can view it.
They look at the transcripts that are requested and sent. It depends on what the schools ask for. I believe they usually want term grades not intermediate marking periods
So they don’t need it?
No, no more documents after the deadline.
Keep in mind that most schools do say your acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of your academic studies so where ever you are admitted may ask you to send in your final grades at the end of the year. B+ and A- arent going to get you in or keep you out --for any school
No, they don’t want them now before they make their decisions,
Thank you all for your comments. I’m glad that this won’t hurt me for the time being but I will make sure to get my grades up in case I get accepted and the school wants it.
And if MP2 grades evidence an upward trend in grades you guys would still advise against sending them after the deadline? @Center – I believe schools send in MP1 grades if the first semester of the current year has not finished, am I correct? Or would they only send available semester grades as implied in your above post?
If they wanted official transcript but all you had was unofficial, shouldn’t you still have the official mid-year transcript sent by the current school at end of 2nd marking period (late Jan in many places)?
Yes. Many applications require mid-year transcripts sent by your current school. Does your application show as “complete” on your portals?
yes it does
Yes it does say complete
