<p>Hey, I'm wondering if the summer programs that colleges have look good on the application to that particular college. I got accepted into the UPenn Biomedical Research Academy and I was wondering if it would look good on my application to UPenn (#1 choice! :D ) and yes, I know that I should be going for the experience, but I want to know if it looks good. :D </p>

<p>S did the summer program in biomed engineering at Columbia one summer and genetics the next summer. He did not get into Columbia when he applied despite excellent teach recs from those classes. He did however love both programs and learned a lot which has helped him tremendously in college. Don’t know about UPenn’s program but my advise is go if you want to learn in an environment where everyone else is there for the same reason and if the cost is worth it if you take out the “getting in” aspect.</p>
