<p>I'm 5'3" but all the guys I like tend to be 6'0" or taller. My last boyfriend was 6'2"...and he always needed to pick me up to kiss. I guess it's cute at first, but I felt so short next to him, always needing to literally look up to him ;)</p>

<p>I’m 6’ and my girlfriend is 5’5". It’s not bad at all, I find the height difference cute even two years later into our relationship.</p>

<p>Short people, in general, make me feel awkward, and it is hard for me to convince myself that we’re the same age and maturity level. It feels like they’re kids, and even when they don’t seem childlike, they seem overly fragile. It makes me think I might accidentally break them, even though that’s pretty ridiculous. I particularly hate seeing pictures of myself next to short people.</p>
<p>So, to answer your question, I personally would be unlikely to date someone as short as you are. Fourteen inches is too large a barrier. 5’8"-ish is around where I begin to feel like we’re of the same species.</p>

<p>I don’t mind short girls. I’d prefer someone tall, but eh … it’s not as if I have a lot of options.</p>
<p>I’m not 6+ feet tall but there’s an eight inch difference between my girlfriend and I. She’s 5’2, I’m 5’10, I make fun of her shortness from time to time.</p>
<p>I’m not trying to be harsh. I just literally cannot see eye-to-eye with someone who is as tall as I was when I was eight.</p>

<p>I’m 5’0 (5’1 with my huge hair, I guess), and this guy who currently wants to date me is ~6’2. I always feel awkward talking to him unless we’re sitting down or standing 3+ feet away from each other…</p>
<p>Personally I find any girl close to my height scary actually and I’m only 5’ 11" 3/4 haha, almost 6 foot. Shorter is better for me </p>

<p>The question was not: “Can you lie and make short, small people feel like they are universally attractive to all tall people? Make sure to give very evasive reasons so that, even if you won’t lie, you don’t let us know what your actual opinion is.”</p>
<p>My answer was not: “Yes, I love short people. Please think that every really tall person wants to date you. Please do not consider how great it makes tall girls feel every time someone tall enough for them chooses to date someone half their height.”</p>
<p>Frankly I’m not even 6 foot- I’m 5’11 (but im only 15 so I’m assuming I eventually will be) and I don’t really like short girls. The shortest girl I like is 5’5, and I prefer 5’7 to 5’8.</p>
