Do the grades of spring semester have to be submitted before notification date?

<p>I am the transfer applicant to JHU in Fall 2008. I heard that the notification date for transfer applicant is around June. Do final grades of a spring semester have to be submitted before the notification date? And, if so, are they very important for transfer admission?</p>
