Transfer

Hello, I am Sarah, I currently attend College Park, and i was intrested in transfering for next semester. I am currently a sohpmore majoring in Economics and math. I was curious, is deadline over due for me? I recall march is the deadline for transfers but, do i still have a shot since spots fill up? Also, where does Hopkins Economics program rank? Thanks to all respondant :). I am new here, so i apologize if i broke any rules or misused certain things. Thanks.

Someone please?? At least if i am overdue or not?

Based on last year's experience, I don't believe you are overdue in any way. Transfer apps were still being processed several weeks after the due date, and decisions were made in very late May/early June. I don't believe they "filled spots" in a rolling admissions sort of fashion.

You can wait for Admissions Daniel to confirm the above, but that was my observation.

The transfer application deadline is March 15, 2007. See this web site for full details on transfer admission to Johns Hopkins:

The Admissions Committee does not begin to process and review transfer application until the end of March, and decisions are released at the end of the May. The processing is not rolling admissions.

As far as Economics, do a search of the JHU threads as this questions has come up A LOT OF TIMES.
