Hey there!!!
I want to write a common app essay about my tap dancing instructor and how she inspired me to become who I am today. But I made her up and she's doesn't actually exist. Will universities verify her existence or something like that?

LOL. Why not just spirit away the pretend instructor to her grave as well? Seriously, I don't think Ad Comms subcontract out such detective work.

its a lot easier and come across one hundred times better, if you do not make things up. It may seem to look okay, but when compared to an essay you write that is one hundred percent real, it will be much better sounding.

They will not need to confirm as long as it doesn't sound ridiculous right?

smallcollegesFTW has never read good fiction huh??

Isn't it true that you can expect to talk about your essay during interviews?

Most essays are skimmed anyway.
