Do they have a copy of your application at an interview?

I'm wondering if I should review each of the books I read that I wrote down on my application...some of them were from awhile ago, and I'm not sure I could give a great thematic synopsis without a bit of review...

thanks

I have never heard of an interviewer (and none of mine did) who had a copy of your application. If you feel like giving a copy of it or a resume to your interviewer, I'm sure they will look it over. Ask if you can email it ahead of time so they won't be looking it over at the interview and will come with questions about it if they have any.

I'm pretty sure my interviewer had a copy of my application, because I did not give her one, yet she was asking why I chose the academic interests I put on my app, something she couldn't have done if she didn't actually have a copy.

^did she specify what they were or did she just say "why did the choose the academic interests that you put in your app?"?
unless your interviewer worked at admissions it's unlikely they'd give your info out to alumni that easily.

Oh. well I know for Yale at least, they tell the interviewer your chosen major but they don't see the app. They usually just get your contact info, sometimes not even what school you go to.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they had no idea of my application when I interviewed. They did, however, ask what books I read, but didn't ask me specific summaries or anything, just which ones I liked.

ok awesome. thanks guys

They don't have your app, but they have the data from part 1. It's used perhaps to match up alums and students with similar interests.

sweet thanks

I guess I was mistaken for saying that my interviewer had a copy of my app. That's probably why my interviewer knew which choices I made for my academic interests then.

i would think they wouldn't ask you, so how bout that act 2 scene 3 of macbeth?
