<p>Do they look at the SAT writing section?</p>

<p>I just got my OCT SAT scores and I did better on the writing section by 80 points than before.</p>

<p>I sent the scores to the Office of Undergrad admissions, will they "look" at it!?</p>

<p>UT will start looking at the SAT writing this year.
So yes, they will put just as much emphasis on writing as they do on the other two sections.
I don't know if A&M does, though.</p>
