<p>Do they look at the SAT writing section?</p>

<p>I just got my OCT SAT scores and I did better on the writing section by 80 points than before.</p>

<p>I sent the scores to the Office of Undergrad admissions, will they "look" at it!?</p>

<p>Yes they do now. Per the website:</p>

<p>Effective with the 2009 entering class, the university will begin considering the SAT writing portion of the SAT.</p>
