I got a newspaper type thing from the admission office in the mail today. They love me? They love me not?

I feel like this comes up every year, but from what I remember, it unfortunately doesn't indicate whether you have been accepted or not, for people who were not still received it (as I recall).

huh? I don't understand. Could you clarify?

He said receiving the newsletter is not an indication of admission.
I had hope it is a sign. But he said no.
I will be happy at UCLA or WashU if I don't get in Pomona. Their loss.

So ppl who don't recieve it (like me), shouldn't worry right?

It is just a mass mailing, not a declaration of love, no offense.

I am heart-broken. Why does Pomona has to torture me by sending me this "subtle hint"? Brown, Yale, Princeton, and Harvard just ignore me so as not to give me any false hope.

dysonfree, go take a shower, read the paper and forget about the admissions process. its a saturday. pomona has fewer applicants than those ivies so they have more money to throw around sending us tobe rejectees/acceptees by sending us those clips etc. I got rejected by three colleges so far. I'm sure you'll endure the torture.

haha, dang i was so hopeful too :(
