<p>I got deferred today, I applied regular decision. Do they ever reject people straight up from regular decision, or does everybody get deferred at least once?</p>
<p>To my knowledge, they don’t reject anyone out of Early Action (just defer them to RD), but they do out of Regular Decision. They also wait list a lot of people out of RD.</p>
<p>Yes, lots of people get rejected during RD, however you can be waitlisted, which is basically deferral for RD.</p>
<p>I find it kinda odd bc the admission decision doesn’t come until the first week of February. Just out of curiosity, how do u know u got deferred?</p>
