Do UCs accept the December SAT?

If we bombed today (October 6th)'s SAT, can we still take it in December in time for the UCs? I'm taking subject tests in November, and the UC deadline for applications is November 30th.

Yes, December is the last sitting that will count for freshman applications for next fall.

You can confirm this at this website:

<a href="http://universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/examination_reqs.html%5B/url%5D">http://universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/paths_to_adm/freshman/examination_reqs.html</a></p>

Thanks, how do we report on our application that we expect our December retake to be better than the previous attempt?

Afterall, the deadline is November 30th, and results for the December one won't be released until December 20thish? By then, won't the admissions officers of the UCs already be digging through their massive stacks of apps?

You don't know for certain if your December retake is going to be better.

I advise not to make that statement on your application.

Okay, thanks for that, but in any case what step do I take to make sure they'll see my December scores? (They'll come in a MONTH after my UC applications are in...)

so what would someone in this situation put on their application? because i am going to be taking SAT IIs again.
