Do Uni's use conversion charts?

Hey!

I was wondering if these Universities converted grades from Private School (Canada) to U.S.?
My school states that a 91% (what I have) is a 97.5% or so in the U.S (4.00 GPA). This is on an official document, so I am not making these numbers up :)

Would these universities convert my grades for Undergrad? (Looking to go into Economics undergrad, wanna go into Investment Banking / Private Equity)

Harvard
Wharton
Cornell
NYU (Stern)
Columbia
Georgetown

And what about L.S.E (UK)?

If they do convert it, would the mark I have now be sufficient to have a good chance to gain admission? I know it is based on extracurriculars and SAT too, but you also need good marks :) Would my current mark be good?
If they don't convert it, would I be ok with my 91 (3.64 GPA), or would I need to raise to like a 3.8 (93?) to be safe?

Thanks!

Colleges will consider yout grades and scores in the context of your school. How colleges know what to consider is the school profile, which should list things like the conversion tables you mentioned, especially for international schools. I’m not familiar with GPA re-calculation for international students, so I’ll let somebody else answer tha.
