oh well. i rarely look at friend's profiles anyway.

Facebook is annoying to me.

It's a necessary evil for communication and mass party invites, but the whole "I'm going to market myself and try to seem very cool with my page" just makes me want to vomit. That and everything is too public.

i hate it when ppl u kinda don't talk to that much just comment on your photos. it's like, "um...stalker much?"

and I also hate it when you write on someone's wall and they don't respond. ever. lol

I only denied one person and that was because she was such a phony ***** to me in high school. Did she seriously think I was so blind or stupid not to realize the crap she pulled to make half our grade either ignore me or make me a laughingstock. LOL!

If you're not like that, it's nothing personal if you don't get added. Maybe they only want close friends or your picture didn't make you familiar.

I usually accept friend requests from people that I have known for awhile or have met recently that I liked. I'll admit, I have been one to let a request sit for about 5-7 days, but that's just because I wasn't sure about how I felt about them. Sometimes I think I may be a little too selective with adding friends on Facebook. On Myspace however, I let those friend requests sit in my box forever because they usually come from really creepy guys who want to "show me a good time".

I wait until three or four people request me so that it takes up more space on my wall/news feed.

I don't have a facebook, but may get one late Senior year... or summer before college. I heard it was a helpful source.

Uh... as I've already mention I don't have a facebook. Though if I had one, and got friend request I would most likely accept them... and most likely review their page.

I don’t accept a friend request unless it’s from a close family member or friend.

I usually just accept them once I get them as long as we have mutual friends… I rarely send requests, though.
Some of you sound pretty paranoid/intentionally exclusive. I mean c’mon guys, there’s a difference between being friendly and being creepy… Just because someone you’ve talked to once or twice requests you doesn’t mean that they want to stalk you.

If they go to my old high school, I’ll usually accept them. (small school) and if they act like annoying teenagers that post 10 statuses every 2 minutes, I will hide them from my newsfeed. :)

I deny the requests if he/she is an unknown person otherwise I will accept it.

I think it’s important to exercise caution when using facebook:

[Half of employers ‘reject potential worker after look at Facebook page’ - Telegraph](<a href=“Half of employers 'reject potential worker after look at Facebook page'”>Half of employers 'reject potential worker after look at Facebook page')

Only if I know the person in some way.

That’s why I don’t even bother with facebook anymore. I deleted mine and never thought much of it. It’s going to die down, especially since it’s not very private anymore and keeps changing.
