<p>disagree since you can work to improve either (study, diet, whatever) and it helps to be proud of something</p>
<p>if we can’t be proud of something we do then we probably wouldn’t bother so much, I think it’s important to have some pride, obviously there is too much in some cases but having pride in yourself keeps you striving for more and is why we have confidence</p>
<p>I think we are equating pride to ego here…ego is the bad thing. Obviously you have a right to be proud of intelligence and looks, but it never seems fair… (coming from a person in the “hard worker” category.)</p>
