Were You Awesome In High School?

Repost all that apply to you. Delete all that do not apply to you.

During your high school years.....

You went to prom.

You went to another school dance other than prom.

You had a cell phone.

You had an Ipod.

You had a bf/gf.

You were told that you were handsome/pretty at least once.

You had more than 10 friends.

You wore A&F, Abercrombie, Aeropastle, American Eagle, Hollister, J Crew, or Nike clothes to school. Even if you wore a uniform, those stores do sell polos, oxfords, dress pants, etc.

You drove your own car to school.

You were invited to at least 20 private parties/celebrations.

You were homecoming queen or king.

You played a varsity sport.

You were captain of a varsity sport.

You felt that you had extreme fun.

If you got into an Ivy league school while doing all of these, you're awesome.
Add nore if you like!!!!!!

iPods? Come on. And I don’t know about “Aeropastle” either.

I don’t get it. How does wearing clothes everyone likes make yourself awesome? There are alot of popular kids who don’t wear brand named clothing everyday, and there are those idiots who try to wear “popular” clothes, while looking like a tool.

Having an iPod doesn’t exactly give you “awesome” status. I don’t know where you got that from.

All of these seem really stupid. You can be “awesome” in high school, while doing less than half of these.

I drive a black Porsche 356A, I’m already awesome.

^You are indeed, boy-with-the-Gallardo-owning-father.

1 & 9 will happen when senior year rolls around.

For my school, you can only wear the clothes available at our school uniform store. For guys, it’s different though, you can wear any dress shirt/tie you want, however the slacks must be from our uniform “brand”

FAIL.

All the rest apply.

No, I was complete fail. =)

wow…i must be really awesome, cause all of those apply to me, except for 5 (which might happen this year, you never know).

and dre101…you are AWSOME…lemme drive it sometime lol

I’m only a junior but so far:

8)Occasionally, but not on a daily basis.
9)No:((even though I’ve had my permit since July of last year:/)
10)No(thank goodness:))
11)No(I’ve never been to that dance)

I still do.

You were told that you were handsome/pretty at least once.

Hell ya!

You had more than 10 friends.

um…yes…

You wore A&F, Abercrombie, Aeropastle, American Eagle, Hollister, J Crew, or Nike clothes to school. Even if you wore a uniform, those stores do sell polos, oxfords, dress pants, etc.

Yes.

You drove your own car to school.

Boarding student, so no, but I do have a car on campus! Does that count?

You were invited to at least 20 private parties/celebrations.

Over four years (three for me, rising senior)? Of course!

You were homecoming queen or king.

We don’t have this, but I would have lost anyway.
12. You played a varsity sport.

Played three.

You were captain of a varsity sport.

yup

You felt that you had extreme fun.

yup.

I am awesome.

This list is dumb. Who cares if you are captain of the varsity swim team? That mainly proves that you are a nerd.

^ i agree. those points above don’t show any signs of being awesome…more like being spoiled.

You went to prom.
Yup

You went to another school dance other than prom.
Uh-huh.

You had a cell phone.
Yes, for the third time

You had an Ipod.
Just like everyone else.

You had a bf/gf.
Let’s say no. I like halfway had one.

You were told that you were handsome/pretty at least once.
Outside of school counts, right? No one ever tells me inside of school, but lots of people tell me outside.

You had more than 10 friends.
Hmmm. I think I did, in 9th grade. But it may have been just under.

You wore A&F, Abercrombie, Aeropastle, American Eagle, Hollister, J Crew, or Nike clothes to school. Even if you wore a uniform, those stores do sell polos, oxfords, dress pants, etc.
Yeah, so basically, people got over wearing these brands back in 8th grade. Here, girls like vintage and in general, less casual brands. I do have one pair of very comfy pants from Aeropostale that I still wear a lot though.

You drove your own car to school.
I don’t even have my permit! And here you can get it at 15 and a half!

You were invited to at least 20 private parties/celebrations.
This is hardly impressive over 4 years, but yes, obvi.

You were homecoming queen or king.
Nope.

You played a varsity sport.
Yup, and it’s called Academic Quiz Team.

You were captain of a varsity sport.
No, le sigh.

You felt that you had extreme fun.
Defo.

The above are hardly measures of being awesome.
