Do you agree with this?

My AP Environmental teacher told me to relax Senior Year (I'm currently a Junior) and take no less than two study halls - she explained that Senior Year is supposedly my last chance to take a break before I'm thrust into the hustle and bustle of college, and then afterwards, life...

I was planning on taking the following Senior Year...

AP Calculus BC
AP English Lit
AP Politics and Government
AP Biology
Latin IV Honors
Study Hall

Is this an acceptable schedule? I can't take TWO study halls, because then I'd have to drop Latin or take an Honors Science course (since all AP sciences, except for APES, are double block...)

My APES teacher basically wants me to do this:

AP English Lit
AP Politics and Government
Honors Physics
AP Stats
Latin IV Honors
Study Hall
Study Hall

...my question is... won't the latter schedule basically ruin my chances for a lot of more competitive schools?

Well, in my school, you actually can’t take two study halls… so that wouldn’t work.
Take what you want. If you really, really like Biology, then take AP Biology. If you really really like math, then Calc BC won’t be a problem, because you’ll enjoy the work!
You’re already taking a study hall anyway.

Did you take AB this year? If so, BC will be easy.

You could probably handle the first schedule.

Also, you have the summer before college starts to relax, if you want to. Or you could do something in that period.
