do you ask questions BEFORE you give up on searching for the answer by yourself?

<p>...since after all, it's difficult to determine how long you'd search for the answer by yourself, and asking questions is a sort of a security net.</p>

<p>and since the sooner you get the answer, the better (especially since the search process of the answer can involve sleeping and subconscious processing).</p>

<p>even though you feel horrible for annoying ppl when you find the answer by yourself and THEN someone answers a question you asked BEFORE you found the answer... and then you might even annoy ppl.</p>

<p>Haha, I love it when people do that. They stare at you and ask you something, then snap their fingers and go “OH” and write something down, and thank you, and you just sit and blink.</p>

<p>PS: Your thread post is very hard to follow, so I gave up and interpreted it in my own way.</p>
