<p>It's a little weird at my school, it's 60% Hispanic, 20% Asian, 13% African American, and 6% Caucasian. The whole school is 6-12 with about 700 students total, c/o 2005 is graduating about 75 students, and our c/o 2006 is about an even 100 but about 15 kids are going to get kicked out because of grades. Did I mention that the school is situated in on the richest neighborhoods in the U.S? With such a weird balance in demographics, we still manage to be one of the top schools in the county every year. San Diego is a pretty diverse place, so I would bet that a lot of high schools are way more diverse than my school.</p>

<p>33% Hispanic (and amongst these, its very diverse. Colombians, Puerto Ricans, Venezuelans, unlike other places like Cali where its all Mexicans)
30% White
25% Black
10% Asian (also from everywhere in Asia, no predominance of any nationality)</p>
<p>There are over 60 different languages spoken on campus and about 1/3 of our 3,500 were born outside the United States. As nicely diverse as it gets...</p>

<p>eh...also Southern Orange County. Public school, 2000+ students. A ton of asians - and by that i include indians, pakistanis, chinese, korean, etc. Lots of Persians too. I'd say at least 40% Asian - very few blacks (maybe like 25 total in entire school, so like 1-2% ish), like the guy from New Zealand (sorry forgot sn) said...very suburbian, wealthy neighborhood so its all Lexus/Mercedes/etc. here. And those are just the students' cars; their parents - Aston Martin, Ferrari, etc. Way better than the teachers' cars. Hehe. Maybe 45% white, rest is probably...Hispanic (relatively small %) and rest...is Misc + Middle-Eastern (Persian, etc.). Lots of languages, flags, have International Week, Ethnic Council...School is like a fashion show. :p</p>

<p>Then he's from the Czech Republic. Czechoslovakia split up into the Czech Republic and Slovakia a loooooooooong time ago. Hey, I know New Zealand is reaally far from the rest of the world, but (no offense) that's not a good enough exuse to be ignorant.</p>
<p>I live in Orlando. My school is roughly 4,300 people, and we're <em>very</em> diverse. We have everything and everyone, in just about the same proportions to America's demography. We also every type of people, pretty evenly balanced (punks, goths, emo kids, scene kids [is there a difference?], your jocks, your rednecks, your kids from the Valley, your science nerds, your urbanites, et al). Everyone who lives here is not originally from here (that agrees with about 80% of my school's population).</p>
<p>But my school is semi-cliquey. My group of friends are really diverse however, but they're all quasi-intelligent, fashion/body-concious, money-splurging kids.</p>
<p>In our group of 10-15, there's this girl from Germany (her father's in the military), a girl from Colombia, an Indian Muslim guy from England, a Paki girl from Saudi Arabia... I, myself, am Vietnamese and from Los Angeles. The rest of the kids are pretty much white, but they're very different (you know, not all WASPs).</p>
<p>My entire hs has 2 minorities and both were adopted! Of course there were only 203 kids in my hs. It sucks living in a incredibly racist and all the same town.!</p>
