I'm now a senior at about a 5% white/95% black school. At times it's weird because there's that culture barrier. I really do like my school, but I can't help but think I would have more friends if I went to a "white school".

I'm the only asian female for at least the junior and senior class. Perhaps in my whole school. I haven't seen any other asian females around. My brother is the only asian male i've seen around too.

asian at a primarily white school. by this i mean i'm 1 of 5 asain kids in my grade of about 230ish white kids. no black kids in my grade either

My school is: 67% black, 21% hispanic, 6% white, 6% asian.

Im hispanic, but I hate thinking about it because I think we are all Americans and labeling is stupid. Anyway, I think I would have more friends if I went to a white school. But I love to hang out with everybody.

yeah i'm hispanic. there's prolly about 10% hispanics at my shcool. and alot of blacks and whites. we're pretty racially diverse. but, i might as well be white. everyone thinks i am anyway.

technically no.. I'm a white female that goes to a mostly white (slightly more girls than guys) school..
However.. I go to school in a very small uncultured town in Indiana now..
I've lived in 3 other states and travelled to most others. So I feel a lot more "experienced" and "cultured" so there is definitely a barrier between a lot of us. A lot of these people have never left the group of surrounding counties, and probably half haven't gotten out of the midwest.

I don't consider myself a minority because of that, but I do think it would be easier for people to relate to me if I went to a less rural school..

I also wanted to add that not all people who haven't travelled or are in rural towns are like this.. Just the majority of them at my school.. I didn't want to offend people or anything.. A lot of these people I love to death so.. It's just something I've noticed
