do you ever feel like there's nothing to do where you live?

Gah! I've been so bored the past month. There's nothin' to do. ****in' ann arbor...

Oh god, I live in a small town in CT. There hasn't been anything to do here for 18 years. Can't wait to start college.

I know how that feels. I live in a resort town, so the only places around are t-shirt shops, real estate agencies, or banks.

I live in a resort town as well...but there is always something to do in the developed areas. Museums, concerts, the beach, nearby theme parks, etc.

Specifically in my zip code...there is nothing here. Just trees, frogs, and houses.

There's nowhere interesting to go here that's within walking or biking distance of my house and, even if there were, there arent enough sidewalks anyway.

Yeah...I don't have any sidewalks...but I have ditches.

I live in a college town, not quite as bad as a resort town. But, pretty boring, nonetheless. I feel like I do the same stuff every weekend, there's nothing new to do.

This summer was wonderful because I did not have any summer assigments, Extended Essay, summer reading, things that needed to be turned in throughout the summer, community service, etc.

Another reason it was so wonderful is because I left the city and traveled somewhere different. Staying in town week after week makes life seem so routine.

i live in texas and have come to accept the fact that there is nothing to do where i live.

I live in a small town in CT too... there IS nothing to do (hence the bordem)!

Rockin' the suburbs--we're just outside of places where everything is...and you do get sick of driving to the mall, movies, minigolf, and bowling after a while.

Which is why my basement is slowly molding itself into the ultimate game basement. Pool table has been there for a few years, we took the ping pong table out of storage, bought a poker set, and bought darts for the dart board my brother won at Dave and Buster's like 5 years ago. Just restock the minifrigde, pop 5 good mix CDs in the stereo, hook up the 360, and we're good to go. All we're missing is a foosball table.

This way, my brother and I go through phases where we just play a lot of one thing. He rocked me in the pool phase (like 45 games to 20 games over the course of a few weeks), we were pretty even in ping pong, and we're tied at darts right now. He can kick my ass at most video games though.

YES!!!! I actually made a post titled "I hate where I live" . I live in South Florida nothing here but Cubans. Lived here all my life and always had dreams of moving to Central Florida which is exactly what im going to do.

Ditto, on the location part too.

well this might be biased considering i live in los angeles, but if you try hard enough you can always find something to do..whether it be giong to a club or simply a friend's house

Yeah, geez Palo Alto bites T_T

Biased...in a topic about being bored when you live in LA?...GET OUTTA TOWN!

... After living in NYC for 10 years...

San Jose is hella boring. There's nothing to do except for going to the mall every other week.

I have all of you beat. I live in Iowa. There's a cornfield behind my house.

^ there's a cornfield BEHIND your house? I live in a cornfield on 100 acres. My closest neighbors are 20 miles away. They snap off the necks of ferrets.

So yeah, there's really not that much to do here. There's a stoplight like 50 miles away. sometimes I go there and watch for cars.

There aren't any. Ever. Except my '91 festiva.

92 people live in my town. I'm the only teenager other than my neighbor. The one who snaps the necks of ferrets. I stay a ways away from him at all times.

I feel empathetic for all of you. Fortunately, I live outside in a town with over 50,000 residents plenty of things to do :)
