<p>Do you feel awkward if people from the same school add you on facebook when they're not in the class/ you never talk to them?
After adding, should one of the two talk first, or just leave it like that?</p>

I have friended tons of people that I have never spoken to.</p>
<p>It’s only as awkward as you make it.</p>
<p>Personally, it’s a little bit awkward when someone friend reqs me and I know who they are, but have never talked to them. I sometimes go through my friend list on FB and just delete everyone that I have never had contact with.</p>
<p>This happens to me all the time. I never add anyone that I don’t know and talk to or have class with. I ignore the request and the awkwardness is over.</p>

<p>I think it’s more awkward when you friend request someone you clearly know and then they either deny it or just ignore it when they really don’t have a reason to not accept your request.</p>
