Do you have a boyfriend or girlfriend?

nope, broke up several months ago, not looking for another gf until the fall of my freshman college year.

actually, i don't think i'll look, i let them come to me... it happens sometimes, but i'm no pimp, just a semi-attractive guy. sometimes i get lucky. i've never had to go after anyone

No, at least not yet. Waiting for someone to actually come to me rather than I go to them. If you get my drift.

Oh please!!!!!!! DON'T BE ON THE DEFENSE!!!! Be the person who asks other out.

I'm sick of high school crap, OMG, so happy I'm leaving!!!!!!!!! Sick of jerks and fake plastic girls.....................

In my defence I think I'm much too young and immature to handle a relationship with the opposite sex, so might as well wait for a couple of years before I venture out into the lands ;)

congrats to you culpa, after 2.5 gfs (long story about the .5 gf), and a breakup several months ago, i think i'll wait until i'm college

but... i don't get ur drift culpa, i'm a slow person when it comes to things like these.

i think the guy should go up to the girl and ask her out first. if you're a guy and afraid to go after a girl, you're in trouble.

I have had a boyfriend and let me tell you-- being single is sooo much better. Currently I have older guy friends with kissing benefits and that is very awesome. :)

=] Thanks Hello32 for making me feel better! ;D I think I'm going to go and enjoy being single while I can! =X

Very true!!!

Eh I'm single currently, for now, NOOOO!!!

Maybe I'll head over to IcicleRose's school and try my luck there. ;)

I have the greatest girlfriend in the world and I don't think things could be any better than this.

No, because I haven't found the right guy. So what if I'm picky? We're only teenagers.

Absolutely not - I like to have control over my emotions at least for now + I'm wayyyy too lazy to maintain a relationship.

haha me? with a boyfriend? unfortunately, not since...6th grade. and that didnt even count. we only talked like ten times. and that was before we went out. silly 6th graders.

Or maybe it's because of your strict desi parents.........admit it.

haha...well that too...that doesn't seem to stop my friends, but alas it stops me. I seem to have fallen for my mother's idea that "there is no one at your school that is good enough for you anyway; just get into a good college and you'll meet someone very intelligent, someone 'at your level.'" It's definitely just a front to cover up the strict no-bfs-or-you-are-an-immoral-child rule, but it's a surprisingly good way to think about things....

It may be a front but its true. For the most part, high school boys are stupid. I don't see the point in getting involved with such things when you don't even have MONEY to... to do anything. Sometimes these kids don't even have a car. So what, they're going to ask mommy to drive them to their fancy dinner?

We usually take the metro--not very romantic, I suppose, but it does the job. (Or so my sources tell me.)
