Do you have a reputation at your school?

Do people know you as "the smart kid" or the "star student"? Or are you an undercover genius? Maybe the lazy genius?

For me - people know me as a "try hard", as in, the kid that writes 30 pages for a 12 page research paper. I mean, people know me as intelligent, but its the fact that I "force it" with every assignment that has gained me notoriety. Not necessarily the good thing. When I come in with entire forests killed because of how much homework I've printed... people know I have #nolife.

At a school of 3200+, it’s a little hard to be well known among the entire population. In my classes, though, everyone thinks I’m smart. Except for the people that don’t, haha.

I’m a pretty stereotypical “class president type.” And I’m viewed as someone who doesn’t try and gets good grades through luck.

Unfortunately I’m known as a “tryhard” at school, which is weird since I don’t even get the best grades.

I think I’m viewed as smart, and also as very quiet and innocent.

I am generally viewed as an overachiever…

Most people see me as the smart kid. Well, only those who know me (i do not look like the average salutatorian). But I’m also seen as very quiet and extremely innocent.

A lot of people think I’m some type of genius who gets great grades and knows everything without studying, but that’s not true. I don’t have a perfect GPA, and I do have to work hard for my grades.

Sure I do, but not as a ‘smart kid’ :p

Honestly, most kids at my school barely even know I exist. I’m probably viewed as extremely shy, quiet, and introverted, and as a result, probably weird as well. I think most kids see me as intelligent, since I’m always participating in class discussions and helping other students with their work–especially in Math and Spanish where I’m arguably the best in my class in each subject–but I’m sure there are others who think I’m stupid.

There is perhaps a handful of students who think I’m an idiot, but I let my haters be my motivators, because I thug so hard, its a way of life.

Overachiever and Overly Involved. I will have 5 leadership positions as a junior next year, which is a lot for my school.

“Overachiever”, “smart girl”, etc. You know the deal. It’s funny though because I try to do the bare minimum for all of my assignments and am nowhere near “overachiever” status. It gets a bit frustrating though. Today, some girl in my class yelled at me because I was expressing my worries about IB exams in a year. Just because I’m “smart”, does that mean that I’m not allowed to express any worry about academics? Really?

The crazy, annoying, smart slacker who manages to make A’s and B’s with little effort. Yep, that’s me! I’m pretty weird, I know I can annoy people, I’m considered to be fairly smart and anyone who has ever had a class with me knows I do the minimal work necessary to secure a grade

Among people in my classes I guess I’m know as the “smart guy” because those people actually see me do work and get good grades. Among the general student body, I guess I’m more known as the carefree nice guy; I’m pretty friendly to everyone and I don’t get very stressed out about anything (if I do, I don’t let it show).

Haha I was voted “hardest worker” for high school guys at a school formal last winter and certain teachers mention me for work ethic to younger grades. I go to a small Christian school with a class size of 32, so everyone pretty much knows each other.

I’m the kid that loved video games the first few years of high school and who is kind of tall (6’3"- the tallest in my class). I’m also the one who is in charge of the soda machines on campus (restocking, ordering, helping people with problems), so that’s another thing.

There’s more, but again, I’ve known most of the people at my school for several years (many since 2nd grade- the school is K-12).

Definitely the “genius kid” (even though I’m not actually that smart compared to all of you, and I actually do need to work for my grades), but probably also one of the weird kids. For those who don’t know me very well personally, extremely quiet (except in math class), and for my closer friends, extremely sarcastic, socially inept, and the one who won’t shut up and can’t stop laughing no matter how hard she tries.

I’m the bitter “English hater”

There’s only 1 science olympian and 2 mathletes in the senior class, we don’t darn get anything (big) for our efforts. And I would’ve put an extensive rant but whatever :P

I’m viewed as that kid who is fairly popular, is never seen studying or doing hw, but is in advanced classes and does well. Like the anti-try hard. I don’t try (to hard) and I do well. Due to my advanced classes (which are not considered that advanced by CC standards) I’m viewed by upperclassmen as some sort of semi-genius, which I can tell you I am not even close to.

A crazy talkative lazy smart kid. I talk a lot and make noise everywhere (some may say a bit loony), and annoy teachers by taking half of their period (yes, I’m * that kid *) never do homework, and get good grades. (Not because I test well or anything, that’s a whole different story.)
