<p>Maryland isn’t big on musicals. They’re more of a straight Opera and theatre school. Yes, they DO have musicals, but they are run by student directed groups. Try to get into College Park Scholars as part of the Arts program, because they would be the best place to: 1. Find out about your opportunities with musicals and 2. Find other students who are interested in musicals. The good thing about Maryland, though, is public transportation goes to Baltimore and DC, so you can commute there to do/see musicals also.</p>
