<p>I have just been taking the SAT's and im planning on applying to GW.......</p>
<p>...would it be best for me to take both the SAT's and ACT's....however the ACT's are not that common here on the east coast</p>

<p>It depends, I did decently on the first SAT test I took so i decided to take it again and I did better. If you didn't do so well and don't think you will do any better on the SATs then take the ACTs; alot of my friends did and did well. Most schools accept either so take which ever one you feel more comfortable with.</p>
