<p>Hi, I was just wondering whether it would look bad if I took a subject test in an area that I have not had a class in. For example, I have had AP chemistry, but only a required honors biology class in freshman year. We have never had an AP Bio class at my school. I would rather take the biology than the chemistry.</p>

Admissions want you to take subject tests in your best area academically to show case your skills. it might work in your favor if you took a subject test for a class you didn’t have and self studied for and scored really well. However if you don’t think you can score high just take another subject exam in an area you’re great at</p>
