Do you include high school on your resume in college?

<p>I'm putting together a resume for an internship I'm interested in, but my college's career advising site recommends leaving everything from high school off the resume.</p>

<p>I'm a freshman and have had no work/volunteer/leadership experience since I graduated high school in June (except taking a summer session class at college). </p>

<p>Is it acceptable to include high school awards/extracurriculars while a freshman in college?</p>

<p>If you’re still a freshman, it’s ok to list relevant work experience that you had in high school.</p>

<p>Leave off the awards and extracurriculars.</p>
