<p>All colleges want to see your 9th grade transcript. Whether they “use” them is a different story. Heard JHU recalculates grades, and "uses 10-11th grades.</p>

<p>I think Chicago - they require it, but they say it will not consider it.
It seems a bit contradictory to me, because if they won’t consider it, why do they want it in the first place? Cuz they like collecting ninth-grade transcripts?</p>
