Arabic? or one of those type of languages such as Albanian?

I don’t know why you think Arabic and Albanian are related (same type?). Google tells me Ohio State has Arabic as a minor.

CMC offers Arabic, I believe.

Penn (UPenn) does I believe

Every school I’ve checked out so far as a minor in Arabic. Here’s a few:

WUSTL
American
George Washington (you have to take Hebrew, though)
Boston University

Arabic is a hugely important language right now, so you’re bound to find a ton of schools with Arabic as a minor (occasionally even a major). HOWEVER, sometimes it can be very difficult to find Arabic as a major/minor. Look under Area Studies, Languages and Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, International Relations, Semitic Languages, etc.

WUSTL offers a major in Arabic Language and Literature:

http://artsci.wustl.edu/~anell/Arabic%20major%20and%20minor22-1Revised1006.pdf

Arabic and Albanian similar? lmao.
Albanian stems from old Czech, and Arabic stems from the Middle East.
Many of the top schools offer Arabic, especially ones with an international focus.

At the University of Texas, you can major or minor in Arabic.

To everyone who thought i meant they were similar … i know there not. I was looking at the FBI’s website about what languages they look for in their prospective intelligence workers are Arabic & Albanian were both on there, Which is why i wrote that.

Thank you everyone else, is there a list that might say what all the colleges/universities are?

Nevermind; I found a full list of schools that offer Arabic:

[College MatchMaker: Results](<a href=“College Search - BigFuture | College Board”>College Search - BigFuture | College Board)

Don’t rely on College MatchMaker to be reliable in whether a college offers a major or minor in Arabic. Check George Washington University as an example. College MatchMaker lists them as having a major in Arabic and they do not offer nearly enough coursework in Arabic for a major; they don’t claim to offer a major in Arabic.

[GW | Classics and Semitics](<a href=“404 Page Not Found | The George Washington University”>404 Page Not Found | The George Washington University)

(Also, future Arabic majors who want to become fluent in Arabic need to look at the depth of the programs. Notre Dame has a major in “Arabic Studies” but offers few upper level literature courses taught in Arabic; students take classes in English in topics such as Islam and Middle Eastern History.)

Thank you very much! I would only like a minor in Arabic
