<p>IMPORTANT Do you have to pay more money if you take more than 15 or 18 credits a semester in college? Like if you take above that then do you have to pay like 300 dollars more per class that you take? Please answer.</p>

<p>Yes, most schools will charge you for extra credits and they are not cheap. Also you have to pay attention to that yourself. Last summer my son registered for his freshman year..after he registered I got the schedule and mentioned to him that he was "over" credits. He had no idea...the academic people had not mentioned it or he did not hear them...anyway I ended up having him change his schedule because I did not want to pay for the credit overage. The actual number varies from school to school. You have to pay attention.</p>
<p>Depends on the college. U Chicago does but Duke doesn't, for example.</p>
