<p>This = so true. I think the only thing that changed was that in elementary school it never mattered whether the kid in front of you knew multiplication faster or could color better. Now, it matters if the kid in front of you has better grades or can solve math problems faster. I wouldn’t say the difficulty of the work has changed, just the stress,maybe.</p>

<p>In the “real world,” there are no homework passes for late work!!!</p>

<p>I hate how in math we always learned how to do things the long way, just so that we could appreciate the simplicity of matrices or the quadratic formula or whatever. Grrrrr. So much pointless work…</p>
