High School Life.

What do you think life is like as a high schooler?

In my studies, I have so far found that Life in High School has been primarily characterized by the following traits: metabolism, growth, reproduction, and response to stimuli or adaptation to the environment.

Unfortunately, I have not managed to even begin to participate in the third one listed yet. :(

I have found that "High School Life" is a time characterized as being filled with times of great learning, but living through "high school life" has shown me, through my scientific studies, that "high school life" is really just one social hierarchy, much like Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, but more of the students needs to be acepted in said social heiarchy.

(Did that make sense? I just wanted it to sound on topic and educational, but I think it just sounds stupid.)

^hey! you copied my thread!

wait i do that too....

I'm a planehumper what can you expect?!

That's really a good thing...high school kids are exceedingly poor parents.

Siglio, I noticed that. Like the Spanish lovers thread that copied the the Latin one.

Anyways, High school is nowhere near as bad as they describe it. If I can survive it, anyone can. Bullying and mocking are always present, but by high school, most kids are learning how to deal. Now, Middle school...that is a different story.

^ Agreed. Middle school...I REFUSE TO GO BACK!

Maybe I would not carry the reproductive cycle to fruition (or even allow conception), but it would be *really **nice to at least *participate in the process that leads up to it.

You probably should have used a different word than reproduction to convey your sentiments.

I clarified my 2nd message before you posted. :p

Had I used a different word, then my original sentence would have been nonsensical, as it would not have been a trait that would characterize Life.

I see...

You are trying to make a statement, right?

On second thought, (sexual) reproduction can be thought of as beginning at gametogenesis, thus nullifying my clarification.

Screw it.

(and I had intended that my post be light-hearted banter... so my post may or may not have been "a statement." Oh, and how do you do that wicked font-change, btw?)

' Text '

Without the apostrophes.

Yeah, tubachick, middle school sucked. The kids were mean, the teachers were mean...MEAN!

A time to hang out with your friends, have fun, great experiences, etc...all the cheesy but true stuff.

As someone who has just left middle school 2 months ago... I can confirm everything horrid about middle school.
High school barely promises better, except I can lose myself in Art and honors courses. Plus, I'm applying for Boarding School. Screw public schools, you've messed me up enough.
lol

Final world?
Middle School is the suck.
High School is almost worse.

Life is good as the big fish... but honestly, I'm ready to dump the online class cave for my state magnet. Middle school was worse, but I've noticed fewer very annoying people... maybe it's just my school.

i actually loved half of middle school, was so-so with a fourth of it, and hated it extremely down to the ends of my guts with the other one-fourth.
and sadly, it ended with the hating extremely down the ends of my guts one-fourth LOL

high school's ok, it's way more liberal than ms in my opinion. or maybe it's cuz my school treats middle schoolers like 3rd graders, but yeah.

Oh oh I hated middle school.
High school is fine, especially since it's very close to being over :]
