Do you support certain scientific research?

<p>^^ I was just wondering, because I'm a scientist-in-training in a molecular biology lab at the National Cancer Institute.</p>

<p>I was just curious as to if you supported the primary types of science research that we do here:</p>

<p>--Cancer Research
--HIV/AIDS Research</p>

<p>The reason I ask is that even though these topics don't involve an ethical side, the government has spent billions of dollars funding this research. Do you all think it's worth it?</p>

<p>I certainly do, what are your thoughts?</p>

<p>yes i think its very important for the entire world to find a cure for cancer and an HIV vaccine. it's worth the money, as long as that money isn't necessarily wasted on other things.</p>
