Swimming 6 hrs/week (I am not swimming for my school's team, my school doesn't have a team. I swim just to lead a healthy lifestyle.)

My school does not have AP classes. In our country we have school grades measured by a 10-point system, I have 10 points in all subjects.

Do you think Vanderbilt will accept me? I need 100% need-based financial aid.

I think you have a great chance. Your stats are quite similar to mine, and I was accepted to Vanderbilt this year. I am also an international student who needed almost full aid.

For international students who need aid, admission is really tough. The admission rate was just 4% this year, which is a lot lower than the 12% admission rate in general. Having said that, if you can present all your qualities in a manner that the admissions people find attractive, you will definitely get the admission offer.

And I would not worry too much about aid. They provide great aid to internationals. I got financial aid from 4 other colleges, 2 of which were Vanderbilt peers, and Vanderbilt offered me the most money. Also, make sure you apply for the CV scholarship. A friend of mine got the scholarship this year, and he will be enrolling at Vanderbilt as well.
