Do you think I can get in?

Hi, I really want to get into Chapman, but I'm currently uneasy about my chances.

I'm a high school senior in Hawaii. My school does not calculate weighted GPA's so I have an unweighted 3.5. My SAT score is an 1860. I dance for a competitive dance team which takes up practically all of my free time and has done so for the past 10 years. Because of dance, the only school activities I participate in are Yearbook (Jr/Sr year) and Marching Band (All four years). I took AP Bio, I am currently taking AP Environmental Science, and in 2nd semester of this year I will be taking AP US Government.
I'm not sure if this information will help... but this year I am unable to dance due to an injury so I will not be able to make an audition tape for their dance school. However, being that I am exempt from attending dance team practices and now have more free time, I applied to volunteer at a homeless shelter on the weekends and I also assist in teaching a dance class.
Throughout my time in high school I was careless in that I have not calculated my volunteer hours...

I'm not sure if I provided enough information, but please give me your opinion/advice! Thank you! :)

Do you have any video footage of your past performances? Perhaps try calling the school to see if you can send in one of your video’s instead due to your injury. Anything is possible. Good luck!

I think you sound like a talented, well-rounded student with a heart. I understand Chapman admissions people are really good about really studying the entire application, not just test scores. Good luck to you – stop wondering, just apply!
