Do you think I can get into Penn State? - 3.7 unw. gpa 1940 sat?

<p>I am out of state and have 92.51 unweighted average with 10 honors/ap classes total. 6 APs total.</p>

<p>My highest sat on a single date was 670 reading, 550 math, 720 writing.
The highest I ever got in math was a 560 which apparently is on the low end of the middle 50%... I had 2 math tutors so I really think that's the best I can get. I don't know my ACT score yet but the SAT might be higher in comparison.</p>

<p>I have 10 awards, 8 school activities, 6 volunteer activities, and 1 job on my resume. Highlights are National Honor Society, volunteer sailing instructor, volunteer private spanish tutor, chemistry and geometry department award, and Varsity Tennis and Golf since 9th grade.</p>

<p>This is my number 1 choice! Thanks so much! Also, class rank 17 out of (only) 175</p>

<p>Hey djayne, I think you have an excellent chance of getting into Penn. State. I would recommend trying an honors college app if you feel up for it! Other than that I am sure you will do fine. I also applied to Penn. State!</p>
