Ok my GPA is a 2.95 and I’m also in the Top 50% of my class. I know that’s not very good as I didn’t really take my freshman and sophomore year seriously (I really regret it) which really brought down my whole GPA. Anyways though here are my ACT scores.

@xSuper, at direct answer to your question is, “No. You do not have a good chance.”

That is not the same thing as saying you don’t have any chance.

Your scores place you in the bottom quarter or accepted students, and the grades aren’t that snappy either. Baylor makes no bones about the fact that they are striving to increase their national prominence and are becoming more selective every year.

If you are 100% sold on Baylor first thing is you HAVE to apply Single Choice, Early Action. Deadline for that is coming up quickly. You will want to complete all optional items including essays, short answers, and recommendations.

You’ll want to make at least one, official campus visit.

Finally you will want to be in contact with your admissions counselor. Stress how important it is for you to go to Baylor.

I know I said finally, but this is most important: Study for it like a maniac and TAKE THE ACT AGAIN.

Baylor is one of the schools that “super scores” your ACT, so you have nothing to do. You have to get that math pulled up. According to the people at the ACT, it takes a Math score of 22 to even be considered “college ready.”

The odds are against you as things stand now, but if you are serious about it, get to work and go for it! I’m pulling for you!
