I currently live in Southern California & I'm attending California State University, Northridge. Although I love my school, I decided to move up north for personal reasons so I have to apply to transfer to finish out my senior year. I did go to a community college before transferring to CSUN, but I do not have my AA. My GPA is OKAY, it should be around a 3.0 or a bit higher after this semester. I know SFSU gives priority to California residents, but I also know that it's tougher to get into school for Spring semester. Other schools I was thinking about applying to were San Jose state and Cal State Monterey Bay, SFSU being my first choice. What do you think my chances of getting into SFSU are for Spring 2014? Although my GPA may not be the best, I am a part of the following (I am an English major by the way): I was the news & managing editor of my community college's student newspaper, I am in a sorority, and two English clubs. Also, on SFSU's website, it seems like you HAVE to have an associate's degree from your CC in order to apply. Does it seem like this to anyone else? Thanks!!
